Maintenance and Sterilization
Horizon Instruments are manufactured using high quality German Medical grade Stainless Steel. If they are not maintained correctly, even the highest-grade Stainless Steel will corrode.

Recommended tips:
- Only use demineralized water during washing process
- Use only validated washing / sterilisation machines
- Lubricate joints before sterilisation
- Sterilise instruments in an open position
Warranty
Horizon instruments are warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the expected life of the instrument. Workmanship includes material breakages such as weld/braze failure of inserted instruments. Warranty does not include regular sharpening of cutting instruments or routine maintenance/refurbishment of instruments.
Cutting instruments warrantied to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 7 years
Cutting performance guaranteed for 1 year
Utility instruments warrantied to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 10 years
Please note that misuse, abuse, failure to maintain or care for instruments or third-party processing properly will void warrant claims.
Sharpening Service
Ormco offers a 12-month warranty on the sharpness of the cutting edge
After the 12-month warranty we offer a re-sharpening service on all cutting instruments
You return the instrument to Ormco Repairs Department
A new refurbished instrument is sent to you
